Home Instead, a leading provider of home care services for seniors, is taking a lead role in the upcoming community event to celebrate the King’s Coronation. As a community-focused organisation, Home Instead recognises the importance of bringing different generations together to celebrate historical moments like the King’s Coronation.
We are excited to announce that the free-to-attend community event to celebrate the King’s Coronation will take place on Sunday, 7th May at the Egham Literary Institute.
We are also excited to continue the tradition of bringing different generations together to celebrate historical moments, and we hope that this event will be just as successful as the previous one.
With the combined efforts and time from Home Instead, the Egham Museum, The Literary Institute, and the Royal Holloway University of London volunteers programme for the planning, organisation and staffing of the event, the event is free to attend, making it accessible, inclusive and engaging for all members of the community.
The high tea and tea dance will be the highlight of the event, with attendees having the opportunity to learn traditional tea dances and dress to impress in vintage style for the best-dressed competition. The Egham Museum will also be showcasing historical memorabilia related to the coronation, giving attendees a chance to learn more about the history of the event. There will be two separate seating’s to accommodate everyone and ensure that no one is disappointed.
The first seating will take place from 1pm-2.30pm, and the second seating will take place from 3pm-4.30pm.
Booking is essential to avoid disappointment.
